Future Licensing Opportunities
For discussion purposes: I have people come up to me all the time saying how much they miss consciousfork® in Warwick.
What was originally just supposed to be a test lab for a future concept - became a community mainstay for over 12 years. After operating as a sole owner for over 12 years. I was ready to take a step back to work on the overall brand and finish the conscious fork cookbook that was long in the works - and working a more scalable model for the brand and concept without me operating in the weeds.
So here new are!
What if there were more consciousfork® locations across the country? When I first opened the cafe in 2012, it was a test lab for a concept that could eventually be cloned in other locations. Over the years we operated in several locations in Warwick, NY, Maplewood, NJ, and at off site venues, such as Festivals, and seasonal venues, such as Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center in the Catskills. In all of these locations, we have been collecting knowledge, data, and invaluable wisdom on how to make an efficient and profitable clean food business scalable and in more accessible in more locations. This type of food is just as relevant since the day we first opened the doors to our offerings. We want to work with other entrepreneurs and business owners help launch their own consciousfork® location(s).
I have always been passionate about start ups and launching projects. What I have also learned from these experiences is that I know that I don’t enjoy operating businesses as much as I like launching them. That is what I am working with an advisory board and my legal team for devoloping a “kit” on how to others can license, launch, and operate a consciousfork in their region.
This is licensing agreement and kit are in development for licensees beginning 2027.
